The ship has some major improvements over previous models, including an included command section that no longer requires its own shield. The Finalizer is 9,566.29 feet long and based on the design of Clone Wars era Republic capital ships. Under the control of General Hux and Kylo Ren, the Finalizer has been used on some of the First Order's most important missions, such as the mission to locate the location of Luke Skywalker. The Finalizer is the flagship of the First Order's fleet. The First Order has violated their peace agreements, with the creation of a small fleet of Resurgent-class Star Destroyers. After this agreement, the remains of the Empire fled to the Unknown Regions, where they became the First Order. When they Empire lost the war against the Republic, part of the Galatic Concordance stated that they were not to create new weapons or warships.
